Welcome to the Eagle Forum Archives

The Eagle Forum Library and Archives is a working library serving Eagle Forum, a grassroots organization founded by Phyllis Schlafly in 1972. Resources in the library and manuscript collection will be of value to researchers interested in the history of conservatism as it emerged after the Second World War. The collection contains 680 CDs, largely of Phyllis Schlafly's speeches, media appearances, debates, and interviews.

The library contains two non-circulating book collections, the Eagle Forum Library donated by Phyllis Schlafly, and the Rosalind Kress Haley Library.

These two collections contain approximately 293 linear feet of restricted and non-restricted material.

The Rosalind Kress Haley Library provides a extensive collection of books and pamphlets for researchers. In addition, the library houses the Haley Rare Book Room, which is restricted to the public. This library is non-circulating. Catalogues for the books and pamphlet and rare books collections can be found on site.

The research library is categorized into sections on Conservative Classics, Politics and Social Issues, European and Military History, Asia, USSR, United States History and Biography, and the Norman Dodd and Larry McDonald Collections.
